Swirly Finger Nails

Your nails are about to get a whole lot sassier.

Supplies:
2 or more Nail Polishes
Bottle or Filtered Room Temp Water
Clear Coat of Nail Polish
Tooth Picks (lots)
Cotton Balls & Q-tips
Nail Polish Remover
Tape
Bowl or Short Cup

Paint nails with a lighter base coat and let dry.
Tape around your nails for easier clean up.

Place water in bowl or cup.
Drip polishes into a bulls eye pattern into water.

Use tooth pick to create designs.
Like we did as kids with Easter eggs.

Dip nail onto pattern in water.  Leave finger in water until you clean excess polish off of the surface of water with tooth pick.

Repeat, Repeat, Repeat...
until you have each finger just the way you like.

Peel tape off.

Use cotton ball or q-tip dipped in polish remover to clean up.

Let dry and apply clear top coat

Now you have Swirly Finger Nails.

Close your eyes and see the beauty.

  9. Love this look! Thanks for sharing how you did it. I wonder how this would work to do on toenails. Too awkward of an angle? I might try it.

  14. Phoo, it's not easy! My nail polishes don't really drip that easy, either. But I have one hand finished!
