I am so excited to share our card making party we had for our
Wonderful American Soldiers.
How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes! ~Maya Angelou
It is always nice to get together with friends, but it was even more delightful to be together for a great cause
OUR TROOPS!!!
My wonderful friend Laura with Stampin' Up! helped host the party. She had 4 cards for us to make.
How did we come up with idea?
It all happened because of a 5th grader from Suprise, Arizona.
Ten-year-old Stephen Goodman. He wanted to send thank you cards to all military personnel. And I am not talking about one platoon, or one division, but to EVERY actively deployed service member in the U.S. military.
Koodoos to Stephen
His parents have one special little man on their hands!
So how could we pass up helping little Stephen? With our wonderful friends Lori, Lynette, Michelle, Peggy and the fabulous Shirley and her Vacation Bible School students. We made 89 cards.
Here was our table set up.
Looks like we were celebrating the 4th of July.
Nope- we were
CELEBRATING OUR TROOPS FOR A SPECIAL SERVICE THAT THEY DO FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US!
OUR THANKS GOES OUT TO ALL TROOPS SERVING THEIR COUNTRY!
