Wanna know what makes this girl happy? Seeing a truck on the side of the road selling local fruit.
It's strawberry season!
It's strawberry season!
I just had to stop.
Now what to make with that last pint of strawberries?
Angel Strawberry Cream Cake
Market Angel Food Cake
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cup milk
vanilla pudding mix 4 serving size
strawberries sliced
First empty the contents of one instant pudding mix into a medium sized bowl. The pudding package may say to add 2 cups of milk. This will be way too much for our recipe. Use the 1 1/2 cups of milk only and add it to the mixing bowl. Blend this together with a mixer.
Cut cream cheese into small chunks and add to mixing bowl. Blend together- it may leave cream cheese lumps. This is ok, it will not ruin the taste.
Slice cake and spread pudding over bottom half of cake, arrange sliced strawberries and place top of cake back on.
It's okay to have leftover pudding. Sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy a couple of strawberries dipped in the pudding. Yummy!
Eat and enjoy! •
