Glass Tacks

Katie is going to summer camp next week.  She asked if we could purchase some thumb tacks to hang pictures of her friends on the camp walls.  

Plain Tacks?

Who?

Not us!

We will make them cute!

Last week I saw a great blog on Glass Marble Beauties at
Run With Glitter (BTW- cutest name EVER!)

Here is our version

Glass Tacks


Supplies

Glass Gems
Tacks (flat)
Scrap Fabric
Mod Podge
Loctite 495 (super glue)

Glue gems to fabric with Mod Podge. 


Let dry


Cut around gems.


Put a drop of super glue on flat side of tack and place on bottom of gem.



After the super glue is dry you can hang your artwork or pictures.



If instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give.
